Whatsapp is working on "Saved Messages" feature

Hosting millions of users around the world, Whatsapp continues to work on new features that will increase the user experience. If we remember, we mentioned some of these new developments in our news about the new features that will be added to the platform in 2023. Now it turns out that the platform is working on a new feature called "Saved Messages". As it is known, Whatsapp recently introduced the feature of messages that users can use in chat, which automatically expires or disappears at the end of the time. Stored Messages, on the other hand, will offer more control over this feature. Thus, users will be able to pin a selected message in the chat and have the option to remove it at any time. In addition, thanks to the new feature, it will be possible to see the lost message even if it has expired.

Looking at the shared screenshot, we can say that the sign next to the pinned message is similar to the Instagram's Saved icon. Since the new feature is under development, information about when or how it will be used is not yet known.
