YouTube has introduced its own annual recap
YouTube is officially joining the yearly recap trend, following in the footsteps of Spotify and other major platforms. The company has launched YouTube Recap 2025, giving users a personalized look at how they spent their year on the platform. The feature is already rolling out in North America and will reach the rest of the world, including Azerbaijan, by the end of this week.
Once your Recap is ready, you’ll find it right on the YouTube homepage or inside the You tab. According to YouTube, this annual summary highlights your interests, deep dives, viewing habits, and unique moments based on your 2025 watch history.
The new Recap includes up to 12 interactive cards showcasing your top channels, topics you explored the most, how your viewing habits changed throughout the year, and even a breakdown of which “personality type” matches your watching style.
If you listened to a lot of music on YouTube in 2025, you’ll also get detailed insights into your top artists, songs, favorite genres, podcasts, and even a snapshot of your international music tastes. All of this can be explored further via the YouTube Music app.
