Vivo X300 Ultra comes with a 200 MP telephoto camera

Vivo X300 Ultra was showcased at Mobile World Congress 2026, although the company initially revealed very little about the device’s design or hardware specifications. As the event progressed, however, Vivo began confirming several important details about the smartphone’s camera system.

According to a post on Weibo by Vivo product manager Han Boxiao, the Vivo X300 Ultra will feature a 200 MP main rear camera. The camera is based on the 1/1.12-inch Sony LYTIA-901 sensor and offers a 35 mm focal length. Vivo claims that this new sensor can capture up to 30% more light per pixel compared to the previous generation, which should significantly improve image quality, especially in low-light conditions.

The company also stated that the sensor supports enhanced stabilization and meets the CIPA 6.5 standard, providing better stability for both photos and videos. For comparison, the previous model, Vivo X200 Ultra, carried a CIPA 5.0 certification.

In addition, the 200 MP camera’s optical system has been upgraded. The new setup consists of 1 glass element and 6 plastic elements, and it features a new coating designed to reduce glare by up to 30% compared to the previous configuration.

Recent rumors also suggest that the Vivo X300 Ultra may include a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 5 MP multispectral sensor on the rear, making the device a strong contender in the flagship smartphone photography segment.
