Samsung is the leader in 5G Android smartphone sales

 Counterpoint research company has published the results of its global market research for 5G powered smartphones running the Android operating system. Samsung's dominance is remarkable in the list of the 10 best-selling smartphones.

 The 5G-enabled device segment is developing rapidly. This year, 5G device shipments are expected to reach 762.5 million units, up 38.9% compared to last year. As a result, the share of smartphones supporting fifth generation wireless network technology in the total sales volume will be 53.7%. According to Counterpoint's report, Samsung became the undisputed leader of the 5G-supported Android smartphones segment in February 2022. Devices of the South Korean brand occupied half of the list of 10 best-selling smartphones in this category. Galaxy A52s 5G, Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G, Galaxy S21 FE 5G and Galaxy A32 5G models come respectively from first to fourth place. In the tenth place, we see the Galaxy A22 5G. In the general table, it is stated that Samsung has captured 24% of the 5G smartphone market.
