macOS 15 Sequoia has been released: Here are the features

Apple has officially released macOS 15 Sequoia. What features come with the new operating system version? Which Mac computers support it?

Apple has officially released macOS 15 Sequoia. Let's see what the operating system offers, equipped with the ability to wirelessly mirror iPhones to Mac computers, window tiling tools and new Safari features.

What are the features that come with macOS 15 Sequoia?

The most striking feature of macOS 15 is the increased integration between Mac and iPhone. iPhone Mirroring makes it possible to view and control your iPhone from your Mac. Applications can be opened directly on the Mac and the sound of your iPhone can be transferred to the Mac. You can also drag and drop items and files from your Mac to your iPhone.

macOS 15 also brings iPhone notifications to the Mac so they appear alongside Mac notifications. In addition, macOS now automatically resizes and tiles windows and fills the screen to maximise screen real estate.

Another innovation that comes with macOS 15 is the Passwords application. With this app, you can manage Wi-Fi passwords, app and website passwords, verification codes, and more.

Apple also updates Safari and starts using machine learning to detect important things on the page. It has now updated reader mode with a number of new features, including highlights, summaries and table of contents on web pages. macOS Sequoia also introduces a presentation preview mode with automatic window tiling and built-in background switching in video conferencing.

Apple's artificial intelligence suite, Apple Intelligence, is not yet available. Apple Intelligence capabilities will be added to the operating system with a new update coming soon.
