iPhone 16 and 16 Pro launch date revealed

Almost a year has passed since the introduction of the iPhone 15 series, and now the eyes are on the iPhone 16 models. As you know, we talked about everything about the design and features of the iPhone 16 series, but the introduction date remained uncertain. In the past hours, it was revealed when the next Apple event will be held. Apple is expected to introduce new iPhones in the second week of September.

When will iPhone 16 be introduced?

According to sources close to Apple, the iPhone 16 promotion date will be 10 September. For those who do not know, Apple has so far introduced iPhones at its event on Tuesday. Last year's iPhone event took place on Tuesday 12 September. So, when will iPhone 16 be released? iPhone 16 and 16 Pro are expected to be available from 20 September. For comparison, iPhone 15 pre-order started on 22 September and officially went on sale in stores on 29 September. Therefore, we may see the next generation iPhones hit the market earlier.

iPhone 16 expected features

Apple's iPhone 16 series comes with remarkable innovations in terms of design and technical features. It is rumoured that Apple will increase screen sizes. We will also encounter the Action button that will gradually disable the mute button on all iPhone 16 and 16 Pro models. At this point, the base iPhone 16 will launch with a 6.1-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and still limited at 60 Hz. But it could have thinner screen bezels as an upgrade.

Apart from that, all 4 iPhone 16 models - iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max - are expected to launch with the Apple A18 chipset. At this stage, Pro models will get the A18 Pro version, while vanilla will get the basic A18 chipset. Apple is also expected to include a 3,577 mAh battery in the iPhone 16 Pro and a 4,676 mAh battery in the iPhone 16 Pro Max model.
