The iPad Air 5, which is expected to be
equipped with the A15 Bionic chip, will be powered by the M1 chip. At the March
8 event, Apple introduced its new iPad Air 5 tablet. What excites the audience
is the use of M1 chip in this tablet.
Apple has introduced the iPad Air 5 at
Peek Performance. Equipped with the M1, the tablet will have the same power as
the iPad Pro, 2020 Macbook Air, 13-inch Macbook Pro and Mac Mini. Expectations
were that the iPad Air 5 will be equipped with an A15 Bionic chip, but Apple
surprised and chose to use the M1 chip. On the performance side, the M1 chip is
50% faster than the A15 Bionic and 70% more powerful than the A14 Bionic. The
iPad Air 5 also has 5G support, like the iPad Pro and iPad Mini 6. Using a
10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, this model has many technologies such as 3.8
million pixels, 500 nit brightness, P3 color scale, True Tone and reflection
protection. The iPad Air 5 with stereo speakers also supports TouchID. The
front camera of the device uses a 12 MP sensor with Center Stage support, while
the rear camera uses another 12 MP camera sensor that can capture 4K videos.
The iPad Air 5 will go on sale starting at $ 599.
