For years, the necessity of using the WhatsApp application on a single phone and with a SIM card limited people. This restriction was alleviated a bit with the web version first and then web-based desktop applications. Now an important step is being taken. In the latest beta versions of WhatsApp, a new capability has been added to the device linking menu. In this way, up to 4 different Android phones will be able to connect and access all the features offered by the application. The update is only available on the Android app.
Another limited feature is Android tablet connectivity. Again, users will be able to connect an Android tablet as well as phones. For this, it will be enough to read the QR code. Since it is still in beta, it may take the next year for the multi-phone and tablet connection feature to be available to the end user.
