WhatsApp will stop working on thousands of smartphones from Apple, Samsung and Huawei after December 31, 2022. Starting next year, WhatsApp users will need a smartphone or tablet with at least Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) or iOS 12.1 to use the app. The messaging app, which is widely used on iPhones with iOS 10 and iOS 11, stopped working on October 24. This time, only two iPhone models will lose access to the messaging app, along with a bunch of Android smartphones.
