WhatsApp Streamlines High-Quality Media Sharing

Sharing high quality photos and videos on WhatsApp is getting easier. The quality of the photo and video sent from the settings can now be made HD quality by default.

WhatsApp introduced the ability to share high quality photos and videos last year. However, when sharing photos or videos, it was necessary to select the HD option each time to send them in high quality. It looks like this situation is changing now.

Four new formatting options added to WhatsApp

According to the picture, the quality of the photos and videos sent can now be selected in the settings and, if desired, it will be possible to send high quality media by default. It is currently unknown when the feature will be available.

It is also unknown whether WhatsApp will allow pictures and videos to be sent in their original quality. In the current version, it is necessary to share files as documents to send photos and videos in original quality.
