WhatsApp Web application is changing: Here`s what`s new?

The WhatsApp Web app is developing new features that will make it easier for users to access certain chats and improve the browsing experience. Here are the upcoming innovations:

WhatsApp is developing a new group chat filter feature for the web app. This feature will allow users to easily categorise their chats. The new WhatsApp Web will also bring the new sidebar for better navigation experience.

New sidebar and chat filter

The new interface is very similar to the one currently being developed in WhatsApp for Android. There are three different filters that allow users to manage their chats by unread messages, personal conversations and group chats. A new, revamped sidebar, similar to the one in the Windows app, is also noteworthy. The tabbed sidebar consists of chat, status, channels, communities, archive and starred messages.

The new sidebar and chat filter feature is under development and will be available in a future update of WhatsApp Web.
