Previously, a platform called TikTok Photos was found in the codes of the TikTok application. This indicated that the new photo application was on its way. TikTok, one of the world's most popular social media platforms, has released a new mobile application called "Whee".
Whee, which is also available in Turkey, allows users to share only photos. Users in our country will be able to download the application, which is not yet available in many countries, especially in the USA.
According to the Play Store's description and screenshots, Whee is similar to Instagram but has a more personal touch. According to the developer, Whee is designed to share photos that only your friends can see, unlike Instagram, which allows public accounts to see your posts.
The screenshots emphasise the friends-only approach with the phrases "Share with friends only", "Friends only" and "Like and comment with friends only". According to the screenshots, the app has a very simple user interface with three tabs for camera, broadcast and messages. There is also an Instagram-like notification button at the top.
