The countdown has started for Xiaomi's highly anticipated phones Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro. Today, new images showing the design of the Xiaomi 15 Pro have leaked online.
Xiaomi, one of the first brands that comes to mind when it comes to Android phones, is about to complete its preparations on its new phones Xiaomi 15 series. As every year, Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are expected to be introduced next October. New images showing the design of Xiaomi 15 Pro have leaked. So what is expected from Xiaomi 15 Pro?
Many details about the Xiaomi 15 series have been shared so far, and current reports suggest that Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro will generally stick to the lines of the 14 family. In the newly leaked images, we see the design of Xiaomi 15 Pro for the first time. Accordingly, the model, which comes in White, Black and Green colours, has a triple camera setup on the rear surface, just like its predecessor. However, the camera island has been made compatible with the body colour this time.
In addition, this section also features the LECIA signature, while the LED flash now moves vertically outside the camera island. The phone's power and volume rocker are located on the right bezel. Below the bezel, there will likely be a speaker grille, main microphone and a USB-C port. We cannot see the front of the phone in the photos. However, it is stated that it will have a curved screen with a centred camera sensor.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm's new flagship model Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset and paired with up to 24GB RAM capacity. In addition to the phone's 6,000mAh battery capacity, the charging speed is expected to slow down to 90W. On the front, we will encounter a 6.73-inch OLED panel with a micro-curved design from four sides. The screen will support 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate.
Xiaomi 15 Pro, which will have an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, comes with IP69 certification. In the camera section, there will be a 50MP triple camera setup. While the main camera carries the OmniVision OV50K sensor, it will offer an aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/2.5. On the other side, the Sony IMX8 series periscope telephoto camera is rumoured to be able to perform up to 5x optical zoom.
