Xiaomi introduced its new smartwatch at today's event. The model, called Xiaomi Watch S3, stands out with features such as interchangeable bezels, HyperOS interface and eSIM support.
Chinese technology giant Xiaomi not only introduced Xiaomi 14 smartphones and HyperOS operating system at the large-scale event it organised today, but also announced its new smartwatch, which has been on the agenda for a while. As you can guess, we are talking about the Xiaomi Watch S3 model.
The device has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a maximum brightness of 600 nits. Users will be able to customise the appearance of the smartwatch with interchangeable bezels that will be sold separately. A different dial is prepared for each bezel. Straps in various colours will also be available.
The smartwatch includes a 12-channel heart rate sensor that is 20 per cent more accurate. It also has features such as measuring the amount of oxygen in the blood (SpO2), monitoring sleep quality, stress levels and respiratory rate. It can track health data for women. It also has dual-band satellite positioning.
The Xiaomi Watch S3 includes more than 150 sports modes, including a new professional snowboarding mode with virtual assistant. The company announced that the battery life can last up to 15 days depending on the usage scenario. In addition to all these, it should be noted that the NFC module is included in the device.
Xiaomi Watch S3 works with the HyperOS system that replaces MIUI. However, not much information was given about the basic features and useful functions of the new interface at the launch. However, it apparently consumes much less power. The basic model of the smartwatch will be sold for $ 110, and the version with eSIM will be sold for $ 135.
