Xiaomi has launched a new laptop for the global market. The model, released under the name Xiaomi Book 14, comes with a 12th Generation Intel processor, 12 hours of battery life and a high-quality screen.

The device has a 14-inch screen that offers 2.8K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 300 nits maximum brightness and 1500: 1 contrast ratio. Covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut, the panel is well suited to usage scenarios where color accuracy is important, such as graphic design or photo editing.

Xiaomi Book 14 is offered in two different configurations. The high-end variant has an Intel Core i5-12500H processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Alternatively, there is a second, more affordable model equipped with an Intel Core i3-1220P processor, Intel UHD graphics, 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

Battery life and connectivity features

The laptop has a 56 Wh battery that provides approximately 12 hours of uninterrupted battery life. We can list the connection options as HDMI 2.1, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Xiaomi Book 14 comes with Windows 11 Home installed out of the box. The weight of the device is 1.37 kg.
