Honor introduced the X40 with 5G support

Honor brand has announced a new smartphone that supports 5G connectivity. The Honor X40 is a mid-range device that will replace the Honor X30, which debuted late last year.

Screen

The smartphone has a 6.67-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 800 nits. It should be noted that the fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen.

Equipment

Honor X40 is powered by Snapdragon 695 chipset. This processor is accompanied by 6/8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage. The Chinese company has included a 5,100 mAh battery with 40W fast charging on the device.

Cameras

The smartphone has dual cameras on the back panel:

50 megapixel main sensor (f/1.8)

2 megapixel macro camera (f/2.4)

On the front, there is an 8-megapixel (f/2.0) selfie camera. The cameras can record 1080p video.

Other features

We can list other features of the device as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1 BLE, GPS, A-GPS and USB-C port. The smartphone comes out of the box with the Android 12-based Magic UI 6.1 interface. Sales of the Honor X40 will begin on September 23.
