Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE Will Significantly Reduce the Fold Mark on the Screen

Samsung is set to significantly reduce the fold mark on the screen with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE. The phone will also feature a slimmer body compared to its predecessor.

Falling behind its Chinese competitors in the foldable phone market, Samsung aims to catch up with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition. The company's foldable phones have been criticized not only for being thick but also for the prominent fold mark on the display. However, the South Korean giant seems to be making major improvements in this regard with the new model.

According to a reliable leaker, Ice Universe, Samsung has managed to significantly reduce the wrinkle on the screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE. However, the source does not specify how the company achieved this.

The new model will also show significant improvements in thinness. Previous reports indicate that the phone will have a thickness of 10.6 mm when folded. While it won't reach the sub-10 mm thickness levels of Chinese manufacturers, it will be noticeably thinner than the 12.1 mm thickness of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The Galaxy Z Fold SE will also offer a slightly larger display area with a 6.5-inch external screen and an 8-inch internal screen. Other rumors suggest the phone may feature an under-display camera. However, it is said that the phone will only be sold in South Korea and China.
