Apple will solve the old problem with iPhone 15!

It is said that Apple will solve a major problem with wireless charging with the next generation iPhones. The company will not limit the maximum power on wireless chargers from third-party manufacturers. As you know, in order to achieve 15W wireless charging speed on iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 smartphones, only Apple's official MagSafe magnetic wireless charger or expensive chargers with official MFM (Made for MagSafe) certification are required. Qi-certified wireless chargers can provide a maximum of 7.5W of power.

The annoying limitation is lifted

That will change for the better with the launch of the iPhone 15 series. According to the news on the Korean Naver blog, Apple will allow third-party chargers that are not MagSafe certified to a maximum of 15W with its new smartphones. Let us remind you that the transition from Lightning to USB-C will theoretically allow Apple to increase the wired charging speed from 27W to at least 45-65W. However, there is no information on this subject so far. The Cupertino company is expected to introduce the iPhone 15 series in September.
