ChatGPT era in Apple ecosystem

Claims of cooperation between Apple and OpenAI were confirmed at the WWDC 2024 event. With iOS 18, macOS 15 and iPadOS 18 versions, the ChatGPT 4.0 language model will be widely integrated into the Apple ecosystem.

According to the statement made, ChatGPT 4o will be a chatbot that Siri can refer to when Siri cannot do what you want. It will be released towards the end of the year and will come to iOS, macOS and iPadOS. ChatGPT will be available to all Apple users for free.

Apple will ask users in advance if they will use it. Users will not need to register an account for this integration. The company says it will also bring integration to other third-party LLMs, but more information is not available for now. There are advanced models such as Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude 3.

On the other hand, Apple is not only integrating with ChatGPT. It was stated that different language models will be offered to users in the near future.
