Xiaomi`s new smartphones may support 150W fast charging

Xiaomi may soon support 150W fast charging on its new smartphones. Introducing the Redmi K50 smartphone, the company has already introduced 120W fast charging. Now this figure can reach 150W.

According to Digital Chat Station, the company has already introduced 120W and 100W fast charging for Redmi K50 Gaming Edition and Redmi K50 Pro + models. So, the company, which uses 6c dual-cell batteries, was able to do so. The smartphones in question can be 100% charged in 17 minutes. Another piece of information shared is that the company will not be satisfied with this and will also produce smartphones that can charge up to 150W. Thus, smartphones will be able to charge 100% in less than 17 minutes. Allegedly, the new technology will be used in the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

Note that many users are still questioning this technology. Users claim that fast charging technologies shorten the battery life of smartphones. For this reason, many users turn off fast charging in the settings of their smartphones. But smartphone makers say that`s not what they think. The impact of fast charging technology on battery life is minimal. Currently, Chinese companies are leaders in the use of this technology. Brands such as Apple and Samsung still use fast charging technology up to 50W. Nevertheless, Chinese companies continue to invest in these technologies.
