 With Android 13, the setGameState method will be added to the operating system, which will allow the games to notify the phone of their current status. In this way, the phone, which learns the current status of the games, will be able to decide whether the game is interrupted or not. In addition, thanks to the setGameState method, the loading times of the games will be collected. According to this information, the phone will then be able to increase the CPU performance by using the GAME_LOADING mode to move the gaming experience to the next level.

 It is stated that the feature in question will only work on phones that come out of the box with Android 13 installed. In other words, this feature is not expected to work on devices that will upgrade from Android 12 and earlier versions. As a matter of fact, most manufacturers have various methods that interfere with the phone's chip with software to increase game performance and loading times, and offer it to their users under game mode. However, including this feature across the operating system means that the feature will be included in many more phones.
