Samsung launches

In recent months, Apple has announced its repair program. Apparently, this has begun to affect other brands in the industry. Along with iFixit, Samsung has announced the "Repair Yourself" program.

As a result of currents claiming that consumers have the right to repair their devices, Apple has announced a "Repair Yourself" program in recent months. Samsung is launching a "Repair Yourself" program with a similar strategy. Samsung is introducing a new application with the help of iFixit. Galaxy customers will soon be introduced to a new "Self-Repair" program that gives them access to parts, tools and guides to repair their devices. The development of the program with industry leader iFixit is good news. The program will initially be available for the Galaxy S20 series, S21 series and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus. IFixit CEO Kyle Wiens, speaking to The Verge; He said that manufacturers have begun to usurp consumers' right to repair. Users who want to take advantage of the program will be provided with easy-to-understand visual instructions and tools. Wiens says guides are available for the Galaxy S20 series, and the iFixit team has developed guides for the Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus.

The program will initially offer parts for the screen, charging port and rear window. However, speaking to The Verge, Samsung said the program will offer more parts for more devices in the coming periods. Samsung's "Self-Repair" program brings new benefits to the company's concept of sustainability, which it has emphasized in recent years. Samsung's new repair program will be available to users in the United States this summer.
