Realme will present the world`s fastest
smartphone charging technology at the upcoming MWC 2022 conference. Realme
smartphones will now be able to charge up to 200W. This is also a record.
At the MWC 2022 conference on February
28, Realme said it would introduce 200W fast charging technology. The company
shared some information about it. The new charging technology will be
introduced together with the Realme GT 2 Pro. The new high-speed charger was
supposed to support up to 150W, but according to Gizmochina, the company has
developed adapters that can charge 200W. According to the shared image, the new
adapter supports 200W and 45W fast charging. Although users are not positive
about fast charging technology, we can say that Realme has exceeded the limits.
Note that, in fact, this is not the
first time. Xiaomi also introduced 200W fast charging technology, but has not
yet used it in any model. Allegedly, despite the fact that Realme`s technology
is of the same power, it can charge smartphones in a shorter time than Xiaomi.
Users think that charging technologies with this power are dangerous and can
damage the smartphone`s battery. As smartphones heat up during fast charging,
they can affect the battery at least a little. That`s why some smartphone
brands are adding features to their models to turn off fast charging. Thus,
unwanted users do not use fast charging.
