Qualcomm report growth in chip business

Although it lost to MediaTek in terms of sales in the mobile chipset ecosystem, Qualcomm continues to grow. Qualcomm was able to increase its revenue in the last quarter of last year as demand for mobile chipsets increased.

Qualcomm`s revenue continues to rise, albeit partially, in the ongoing struggle for mobile chipsets in the Android smartphone ecosystem. The company, which lagged behind MediaTek, was able to increase revenue as it sold more premium chipsets. According to Qualcomm, the company had revenue of $ 10.71 billion in the last quarter of last year. This means an increase of 30% over the same year. The company`s net income was $ 3.4 billion. This means an increase of 38% over the same year. This is said to be Qualcomm`s most successful quarter. The company`s chipset department earned a total of $ 8.95 billion, up 38%. Note that the growth of the mobile device ecosystem means the growth of Qualcomm and other companies. This growth is expected to accelerate as chip shortages decrease.
