Qualcomm and Ferrari will cooperate: Ferrari will be smarter

  Qualcomm has said it will work with Ferrari, one of the world`s leading automakers. The company`s car technology will be used in Ferrari cars. So Ferrari cars will be smarter.

  Qualcomm is preparing to use its technology in the automotive ecosystem. The company, which announced its partnership with Volvo, Honda, Renault and General Motors at CES 2022, has now reached an agreement with Ferrari. According to Qualcomm, this step is called "strategic technology cooperation". This indicates that the car solutions that the company has recently introduced will come to Ferrari cars. Under the agreement, Ferrari will begin using Qualcomm`s Snapdragon Digital Chassis in its cars. While the company`s solutions aim to make cars safer and smarter, they will also provide features such as privatization and upgrades. These include the Snapdragon Ride, which provides autonomous driving capabilities, the Snapdragon Cockpit for in-car functions, and the Snapdragon Auto Connectivity solution, which allows cars to integrate 5G / LTE networks.

  In addition, Qualcomm will develop and integrate Ferrari`s digital cockpits. Under the agreement, Qualcomm will also sponsor Scuderia Ferrari  Formula 1 team.  Snapdragon logo will be placed on Ferrari cars.
