Oppo has introduced SuperWOOC fast
charging technology, which charges the battery 100% in 15 minutes. With the new
technology, it will be possible to charge the 4500 mAh battery 50% in 5
minutes.
Chinese-based Oppo today introduced its
new SuperWOOC fast charging technology. According to the company, the 4500 mAh
battery can charge from 1% to 50% in just 5 minutes. It can charge the battery
100% in 15 minutes. Oppo also said that the first smartphone using the new
charging technology will be released in the second quarter of this year and
will be a smartphone from the brand OnePlus. It is unknown whether this
smartphone will be a flagship model or the Nord series. Note that OnePlus is a
sub-brand of Oppo. Although OnePlus uses Warp fast charging technology, it will
now use SuperWOOC fast charging technology. OnePlus also said that a 150W fast
charge with Battery Health Engine (BHE) technology will not damage the
smartphone`s battery. The 150W charging technology, which Oppo and Realme plan
to use soon, will not be Oppo`s latest project. The company is currently
working on 240W fast charging technology. The company claims that with this technology
it will be possible to fully charge a 4500 mAh battery in just 9 minutes.
