Microsoft is testing a new window
feature for Windows 11`s file manager. This feature, which has long been
demanded by users, has been welcomed by the company.
Microsoft is taking feedback from users
to improve Windows 11. Previously, the company planned and implemented each
feature itself. But now it seems that Microsoft is starting to pay attention to
users. Thus, a new window function for the file manager of Windows 11 is being
tested. Thus, when users navigate to one folder, another window will not open.
The new window will open as a separate window inside the existing window. This
information was revealed by Twitter user Rafael Rivera. An example of this is
browser programs. When you visit another site in browser applications, the site
opens in an additional window inside the browser.
Note that in the past, this feature is
not new. Microsoft introduced this feature in Windows 95. However, it was later
canceled. With feedback from users, the company can activate this feature
globally for everyone.
