 The recent integration of Microsoft, the giant of the desktop world, and Android, the giant of the mobile world, does not go unnoticed. Microsoft, which wanted to create a macOS and iOS style operation, also restructured the responsible departments. Announced by product chief Panos Panay, the change aims to bring together different sources and provide better service. Thus, it is planned to achieve improvements in competitiveness. Microsoft's Surface Duo OS, Swift Key, Phone Link and Microsoft Launcher teams, which develop Android services, will now be gathered under the umbrella of Android Microsoft Platform and Experiences - AMPX.

 It was stated that the AMPX division will be managed by Surface vice president Ali Akgün. In the coming period, critical updates, including running Android applications in Windows, will be under the responsibility of Ali Akgün.
