MediaTek became the first company to offer a Wi-Fi 7 network

        Taiwan-based MediaTek became the first company in the world to introduce Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be). Wi-Fi 7 technology is ideal for AR / VR applications, cloud gaming systems, 8K video streaming and more.

     During the presentation, MediaTek spoke about the importance of multi-link operation (MLO) technology. With this technology, delays in over-transmission will be significantly reduced. Wi-Fi 7 technology will also be able to operate at 2.4 Ghz, 5 Ghz and 6 Ghz. This technology can transmit data 2.4 times faster than Wi-Fi 6. Wi-Fi 7 technology is expected to be launched in 2023.
