Instagram recently announced that it is bringing new features to DMs. These features include quick replies, group polls, and 30-second song previews.The popular social media application Instagram, owned by Meta, continues to improve itself day by day. Thanks to the newly released beautiful messaging features, Insatgram is getting better.

Here are the new features:
Quick Replies: You no longer have to go to the message area when browsing your Instagram feed and someone DMs you. While you are browsing the application, you can reply to the message by swiping down on the notification. This feature currently only supports text replies. If you want to respond with media, you have to go to the Inbox as you normally would.
DM Shortcuts: When you press and hold the share button on a post, a window will open showing some of your closest Instagram friends, and tapping one of them will drop that post into the Inbox of the person you want to send it to.
Online Status Bar: You will now be able to see your online friends in your Inbox. So you will have the most convenient time to message a friend.
Song Previews: You will now be able to send a 30 second song preview for your friends to listen to directly in DMs. Thus, you will be able to share your music with your friends in a more practical way.
Lo-fi Chat Theme: Lo-fi, a new chat theme for DMs, will allow for a more comfortable chat.
Group Polls: Group DMs now also support polls. So, when you are curious about your friends' opinions or you are undecided about a subject, you can send them a survey about it.
