A new product is coming from Apple's budget-orientated iPhone series. CAD images of the recently expected iPhone SE 4 have emerged and the design details of the device have been revealed.
The fourth-generation iPhone SE and its design, which we have heard many rumours so far, have been confirmed by the emerging CAD images. While the images point to a larger notched screen, they also show us the USB-C port. However, it is also stated that the iPhone SE 4 will resemble the iPhone 14 in size and design.
Design of iPhone SE 4
Compared to the previous generation, the fourth generation iPhone SE seems to have much more modern details in terms of design. Important changes include a notched display with TrueDepth camera system for Face ID, flat edges, thinner bezels and a USB-C port instead of Lightning. The screen size also increases from 4.7 inches to 6.1 inches.
As many changes as there are on the front of the iPhone SE 4, it seems that there are fewer changes on the back. As in previous models, there is a single rear camera. Although not in the images, previous rumours suggested that the Action Button would be in this model. However, in terms of size, iPhone SE 4 is expected to be almost identical to iPhone 14 with 147.7 x 71.5 x 7.7mm measurements.
When will iPhone SE 4 be released?
According to current reports, iPhone SE 4 is expected to be released next year, in 2025, but it is also possible that it will be introduced with the iPhone 16 series this year. On the other hand, this potentially radical change in design could revitalise the affordable iPhone family. With a larger screen, Face ID, USB-C and possibly more powerful hardware, iPhone SE 4 could be quite successful.
