iPhone 16 Pro Max will be the thinnest bezel phone

The top model of the iPhone 16 series, which Apple will introduce at the end of this year, iPhone 16 Pro Max design and features started to become clear. According to the latest information, it will break a record with its frames.

There are many rumours about the iPhone 16 series that Apple is preparing to introduce in September. Even the information so far pointed to minor design changes. But Apple may be planning more than that this year. iPhone 16 Pro Max will set a record as the world's thinnest bezel smartphone.

iPhone 16 Pro Max will break the ‘world record’ with its bezels

For those who missed it, we will see a 6.3-inch screen on the iPhone 16 Pro and a 6.9-inch screen on the iPhone 16 Pro Max. This will be the first significant screen size increase in iPhones in years. However, despite the larger screens, no change in the size of the devices is expected. If we remember, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max had surprisingly thin bezels. iPhone 16 seems to push the limits even further.

According to the latest reports, the iPhone 16 Pro will have 1.2 mm bezel dimensions and 1.15 mm for the Pro Max. This means it will be 40 per cent thinner than the iPhone 15 Pro Max. In the images shared, we see that the difference is quite obvious. For this, Apple was previously rumoured to be working on a technique called ‘low injection pressure moulding’ (LIPO).

However, the report points to the relatively new Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology. BRS is a frameless display technology that allows the bezel at the bottom of the panel to be as thin as possible by bending the copper wires upwards. The bad news is that there is speculation that this new technology could increase the production costs of the iPhone 16 Pro and Phone 16 Pro Max, potentially leading to a price increase.

But despite similar rumours on previous models, Apple has generally managed to keep prices stable. Therefore, we will have to wait until the launch in September for all the details.
