iPhone 16 Pro Max and 15 Pro Max side by side: Here`s the design

iPhone 16 Pro Max will be Apple's largest iPhone with a 6.9-inch screen. For a clearer comparison, a side-by-side image of the iPhone 15 Pro Max and 16 Pro Max was shared.

Apple will increase the screen size to 6.3 inches on the iPhone 16 Pro and 6.9 inches on the 16 Pro Max. We've already seen mock-ups of the new iPhones, but this is the first time we've seen them side-by-side with the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and now we have a better idea of how big the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be.

iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch screen

Mock-up models usually have the actual dimensions of the product, accessory manufacturers look at these models, called dummies, and prepare cases and other products before the device is released. The images shared by Majin Bu on X compare the real iPhone 15 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch screen and the mockup representing the iPhone 16 Pro Max with a 6.9-inch screen. Judging by the photos, the 16 Pro Max will not be much larger than the previous generation. When the two models are brought side by side, the difference is noticeable, but it is debatable how important this will be in real use.

The screen of the iPhone 16 Pro will increase from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches. While both iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to be larger, they are also expected to be longer and wider than the previous generation. Although the thickness will remain the same, the weight is likely to increase slightly due to the increase in size. Apple is also rumoured to have thinned the bezels using BRS (Border Reduction Structure) technology to provide more screen space.

In addition to the larger and brighter display, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are rumoured to come with other hardware upgrades. This includes a larger battery, faster Wi-Fi and 5G, a new A18 Pro chip based on M4, a new capture button, a 48 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5x telephoto lens on the iPhone 16 Pro.
