Apple is expected to make major design changes with the iPhone 15 series, which will be released this year. To date, many rumors have shown us that it will leave behind all physical keys on devices, similar to the brand's removal of headphone jacks in the past. Now, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has clarified some of the upcoming key changes.
iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will come with touch keys
In his Twitter post, Kuo reaffirmed Apple's claims that it will remove physical buttons for touchpads on iPhone 15 models. However, the famous analyst says that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max devices will be equipped with the Taptic Engine vibration motor, which will provide force feedback. Thus, Apple will emulate the feel of a real button without any moving parts. It is also reported that Apple has agreed with the US-based semiconductor supplier Cirrus Logic for this new technology. Thus, we can say that the new design change has been approved once again. Kuo, on the other hand, thinks that if the touch-sensitive keys receive positive reviews, Apple may carry this design to other high-end products in the future.
