Apple Intelligence-powered iPad mini 7 launched

The new iPad Mini 7th generation features have been officially announced. Apple introduced the 2024 iPad mini model equipped with the powerful A17 Pro chip and Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence features.

On October 15, Apple unveiled the new iPad Mini model. The iPad Mini 7th generation offers significant performance improvements and new features while maintaining its compact 8.3-inch design.


What does the iPad Mini 7th generation offer?

The new iPad Mini 7 is powered by the A17 Pro processor. Apple claims the A17 Pro chip delivers a 30% increase in CPU performance, 25% boost in GPU performance, and 2x faster Neural Engine compared to the previous generation.

The new iPad mini also gains support for the Apple Pencil Pro, which offers pressure sensitivity, haptic feedback, and motion controls. Other improvements include WiFi 6E support, faster USB-C data transfer, and an upgraded 12-megapixel wide camera with Smart HDR 4.

The 2024 iPad Mini model comes with Apple Intelligence. AI powers advanced writing tools, a more integrated Siri, Memories and object removal in Photos, image generation, ChatGPT integration, and more. The system uses both on-device processing and cloud-based models to balance performance and privacy.
