iOS 18.2 Update May Be Released on December 9

Good news for those eagerly awaiting the iOS 18.2 update: This update, set to bring Siri and ChatGPT integration along with new Apple Intelligence AI features to iPhone devices, might be released on December 9.

Earlier this week, Apple released the third beta version of iOS 18.2 for developers. The update is expected to introduce Apple Intelligence features and AirTag location sharing capabilities for iPhone 15 Pro and the upcoming iPhone 16 series. One of the UK’s largest mobile operators, EE, might have revealed the anticipated release date for the iOS 18.2 update.

For those using EE in the UK, the iOS 18.2 Beta 3 update includes changes to operator settings, upgraded to 60.5.2, while Wi-Fi Calling has been disabled. EE announced that, as of December 9, subscribers won’t be able to use Wi-Fi calling on iPad and MacBook devices. This may indicate the iOS 18.2 release date.

What does the iOS 18.2 update bring?

Focused on Apple Intelligence, the iOS 18.2 update introduces new AI features like Siri ChatGPT integration, Genmoji, Image Playground, and Visual Intelligence for select iPhone models. A new Find feature, designed to help users locate lost luggage or AirTags, is also part of this update.
