Facebook Messenger has introduced a new feature called Shortcuts that can be used during conversations. This allows users to send silent messages to the oncoming user by typing / silent during a conversation.

Facebook Messenger application has started to receive many innovations. The function used today is the Shortcuts function. With this feature, users are not notified when they send a silent message to other users. Also, all users are notified when they use the @everyone shortcut to use it in chat groups. Note that the features provided are very similar to the Slack platform. In addition, iOS users will be able to easily find and send gif images in any format by typing / GIF. The other two shortcuts that are specific to iOS are / shrug and / tableflip. These shortcuts can also be used to send text-formatted phrases such as turning the table and shrugging the shoulder. In the coming weeks, the shortcut / share shortcut, which performs the functions of sending and receiving money with Messenger, will also be launched. However, this shortcut can now be used only in the United States.
