After the critical vulnerability that affected billions of users in the past weeks, a new vulnerability has been detected in the Chrome browser. Google has issued an emergency warning for the third time.
Similar to the previous exploit, the vulnerability with the code CVE-2022-1364 is also caused by the V8 Javascript engine. Attackers can inject malicious code by crashing the browser or issuing error messages. Regarding the vulnerability reported by the Google Threat Analysis Group on April 13, Google made the patch ready in a short time. Along with the desktop version of Chrome 100.0.4898.127, the patch was also released.
Google does not provide details of the vulnerability and the report will be published after a large user base update. It is stated that macOS users can manually install the update from the About section.
