Brave browser against Google with its De-AMP feature

On the mobile side, Google attaches great importance to the accelerated mobile pages feature called AMP in order to reduce energy consumption and speed up browsing. AMP pages that take the page prepared for mobile view and present it in a separate window are risky compared to the Brave browser.

The Brave browser, which draws attention with its security and speed-oriented slogan and is also popular in the crypto money world thanks to its cooperation with the BAT token, will make a splash with its new update. The browser will automatically disable Google AMP pages. This technology, called De-AMP, directs the user to the original address before the address of the mobile page is rewritten in the AMP window. Even if it passes this stage, this time it disables the codes without working. This prevents the loading and execution of codes. The user only sees the original page.

The Brave team states that the AMP policy is extremely wrong. This feature, which increases Google's monopoly, is also a threat to privacy. Except for the Brave browser, some publishers are also responsive to Google AMP pages. Alleging that they monopolized the ad display, the developers sued Google.
