The first images of Apple`s 35W power adapter with dual USB-C ports have leaked

The Twitter account ChargerLAB shared several images that allegedly belong to Apple's 35W power adapter with two USB-C ports. The published images reveal the design of the accessory that can provide enough power to charge two devices such as iPhone and Apple Watch at the same time.

There are two USB-C ports on the charger. It also has foldable ends and circular recesses that make it easy to unplug the adapter. Thanks to its 35 watts of power, the accessory will be compatible with many Apple devices, including the iPhone, iPad, the latest MacBook Air and HomePod mini. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said last March that Apple is working on a 30-watt charger with a new design. Kuo now says this might be the accessory he was talking about. According to the experienced analyst, the power adapter is nearing mass production and will be launched in 2022. Incoming information is that the new charger will use gallium nitride (GaN) technology. This will make the accessory smaller, lighter and more energy efficient than silicon-based chargers. Last year, Apple launched the first GaN charger for the 16-inch MacBook Pro in the form of a 140W USB-C power adapter.
