Android version of WhatsApp gets new design: it will be like iOS

Popular messaging platform WhatsApp's Android app is getting a new look. The WABetaInfo website shared the first images of the interface update that appeared in the beta version of the application, numbered 2.23.8.4. As you can see from the published images, WhatsApp's Android app now looks like the iOS version. There is a new navigation bar at the bottom of the home screen. This solution will make it easier for users to switch between tabs.

Android device owners have been demanding a redesign of the app for the past few years. Users especially wanted the interface on iOS to be used in the Android version as well. Considering the feedback, the company seems not to be indifferent to this.

The new interface is currently available to some beta testers. It is not yet clear when it will reach all Android users. Usually tests are completed within a few weeks. So we won't have to wait too long.
