Android application support for Windows 11 will come soon

Android application support, which is the most ambitious feature of Windows 11, will come soon. Thus, users will be able to install Android applications on computers running Windows 11 without the need for a smartphone.

When Microsoft introduced Windows 11, it announced that the most ambitious feature would be Android application support. On top of that, all users were looking forward to this feature. However, when Windows 11 was sent to users, it turned out that this feature does not exist. For this reason, Microsoft has been criticized a lot. But the company said that this feature will be available to users in the first half of this year with the first major update of Windows 11. Now, in some regions, users can use Android applications on their Windows 11 computers.

However, even if we talk about Android applications, users will have to use the Amazon App Store, not the Google Play Store, to download applications. Thus, the new market for Android applications will be the App Store, produced by Amazon. The new feature, now available only to US users, allows you to download up to 1,000 Android applications from the Amazon App Store. Note that the entire application directory is not ready yet, but it is a fairly good number for starters. Users can also open and use downloaded Android applications as applications in additional windows. Along with the first major update to Windows 11, they will get an updated NotePad app, an updated Media Player app, and many optimizations.
