The new feature coming to the popular instant messaging application WhatsApp has been announced. Users will be able to change the main colour of the application. Well, how will WhatsApp colour change?

Recently, we've seen WhatsApp make a lot of user interface changes in both Android and iOS apps. From refreshed icons and new colours to new features such as multi-account support and Channels, all of them have been major updates for WhatsApp. Now, WhatsApp is allowing users to change the colours of the app. The theme colour change feature was first rolled out to iOS beta users.

How to change WhatsApp colour?

WhatsApp colour can be changed under the appearance menu in the application settings. There will be five colour options: green, blue, white, pink, purple.

The only theme change WhatsApp currently allows users to make is to switch between light and dark mode. WhatsApp's iconic colour cannot be changed. WhatsApp is finally bringing the new app colour feature that will give users more control over the app's appearance. Users will be able to choose from a palette of colours to customise UI elements such as icons, notification flags, and more.

There is no information on when the new app colour feature will be released in the stable version of WhatsApp.
