Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro smartphones at today ’s event. Let’s take a closer look at these flagship-level devices offering impressive specifications.

Features of Redmi K80 and K80 Pro

Both models feature a 6.67-inch 2K OLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen offers a 1440 x 3200 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ support, and brightness up to 3,200 nits. While the Redmi K80 uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, the K80 Pro comes with  Longjing Glass 2 protection.

The devices are powered by Snapdragon chipsets: the K80 has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the K80 Pro features the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Both models include advanced 3D vapor cooling for thermal management.

In terms of cameras, both models come equipped with a 50MP OmniVision OVX8000 main sensor (with OIS). The K80 is complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide camera, while the Pro model boasts a 32MP ultra-wide sensor  and a 50MP telephoto lens. For selfies, both phones feature a 20MP front-facing camera.

The battery is another area where the models differ. The Redmi K80 features a 6,550mAh battery  with 90W fast charging, while the K80 Pro offers a 6,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
