As you know, Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi 14, 14 Pro and 14 Ultra flagships at the recent event, and passed the affordable Lite model of the series. Today, some new information about the series' little brother Xiaomi 14 Lite has emerged. The model, which has been on the agenda for a long time, has been officially confirmed.


Xiaomi 14 Lite officially confirmed

As mentioned above, the Xiaomi 14 Lite model was expected to accompany the Xiaomi 14 series at MWC 2024. However, this did not happen. In the past hours, a new device with the model number "24053PY09I" has appeared on the BIS certification site. For comparison, let us remind you that this is similar to the "24053PY09C" model number previously confirmed for Xiaomi Civi 4. 

For those who remember, Xiaomi Civi 2 was previously released to the global market under the name Xiaomi 13 Lite. The letters C and I here represent the global and Chinese versions of the device. Accordingly, the Xiaomi 14 Lite model is likely to be the rebranded Xiaomi 14 Lite.

 

Xiaomi 14 Lite specifications (expected)

When it comes to specifications, Xiaomi Civi 4 will feature a curved OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and dual front cameras with LED flash. On the back, the Lecia design with OIS support and a 50MP main camera are expected to take place. It will also feature a 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging.

In addition, since Xiaomi focuses on the front camera in the Civi series, we expect to see significant improvements at the front camera point in Civi 4. Under the hood, there will likely be Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.
