WhatsApp will let you mute calls from unknown numbers

Popular messaging app WhatsApp is testing new features every day to improve the user experience. According to a new report, the company is currently testing a feature that will ensure that unknown numbers do not bother users. As you can see in the screenshot above, WhatsApp is working on a new feature for a future update of the app that will allow users to mute calls from unknown numbers. The feature will be found in the app settings and when enabled, calls from unknown numbers will always be muted. But it will continue to show in the call list and notification center.

This new feature can also help users significantly reduce spam calls. Thus, situations such as fraud or theft of personal information can be prevented to some extent. This new feature, which is still in the testing phase, is not yet available as it is a feature in development. However, it is expected to be available with an update to be released soon.
