The Meta AI artificial assistant in the WhatsApp application allows users to ask questions, consult, and even produce photos by typing text or sending voice recordings.
WhatsApp continues to work on new features to improve the user experience. This time, the Meta-owned company is working on a voice chat mode feature to interact with the artificial intelligence assistant Meta AI.
This new feature will allow users to have real-time conversations with Meta AI and communicate in a natural language. In this way, there will be no need to write a message or send a voice to talk to the artificial intelligence assistant.
WhatsApp integrated the Meta AI platform into the application a long time ago and offered it to its users. Users can ask Meta AI questions, consult about a topic or ask it to produce photos.
Recently, WhatsApp added the ability to send audio recordings to Meta AI in the Android beta version. For those who were too lazy to keep typing while talking to the chatbot, this feature could be activated by pressing the voice recording button at the bottom right of the chat screen.
Taking this experience one step further, WhatsApp has now developed a feature where users can communicate directly with Meta AI in real time. In other words, it was possible to talk and chat with Meta AI just like talking to Siri or Google Assistant.
