WhatsApp Will Stop Working on These Android Devices in 2025!

Meta has announced the list of Android devices that will no longer support WhatsApp starting from January 1, 2025. After this date, WhatsApp will no longer be available on these devices!

From January 1, 2025, WhatsApp will end support for older Android devices running Android KitKat or earlier versions. To continue using WhatsApp, you will need to switch to a newer device. So, which phones will lose access to WhatsApp in 2025? Here’s the list:

Meta has decided to end support for these older devices as they lack the necessary hardware to keep up with WhatsApp ’s evolving features and functionalities. As new features like AI-powered tools are introduced, the list of supported devices will be updated to ensure a seamless user experience.

If you are using one of these older devices, it is recommended that you back up your WhatsApp data to a newer device before the deadline. Otherwise, you risk losing all your media and chat history.

Additionally, starting in 2025, Meta will also end WhatsApp support for iPhone models running iOS 15.1 or earlier versions.
