It will be possible to use WhatsApp offline

The popular messaging application WhatsApp is testing a new feature for sharing documents and media with people without an internet connection.

WhatsApp, which recently introduced the feature of creating images with real-time artificial intelligence, is testing new features to continue to improve itself. A recent report revealed that WhatsApp is testing a very useful new feature.

Here are the details of WhatsApp's new feature that will work with a technique similar to AirDrop and Nearby Share:

Thanks to the new feature, which is still in the testing phase, WhatsApp will allow you to easily share files with people nearby. This feature will support document, photo, video and more file types by offering an improved file sharing experience between nearby users.

The feature, which appeared with the WhatsApp for Android beta 2.24.9.22 update, will list all the permissions required to share files with nearby people, as seen in the screenshot above. Users will find easy access to this section directly from the application settings, thus improving the process of transferring certain files to nearby devices. With this feature, other users will only be able to use it if they open the same screen in the WhatsApp app and allow their device to be detected and connected.

Users will have full control over whether or not they can be seen by others nearby, ensuring privacy and security. Finally, as the app will not use data connections, users will be asked to allow the app to detect and connect to devices on their local network.
