Twitter is starting to take the podcast funk to the test

The social media platform Twitter continues to update itself with innovations. The long-talked-about podcast feature has recently begun testing. Twitter is officially bringing podcasts to the platform. Based on feedback, Twitter may open this feature for public use.

Twitter is becoming a podcast app

Twitter and the podcast format actually seem like a pair that get along well. Twitter's research also reveals that 45 percent of social media users already listen to podcasts. Twitter has decided to integrate the new podcast feature into a separate Spaces tab. The venues have been redesigned so you can access both live audio streams and podcasts. With the updated design, audio content can be customized by grouping news, music, sports and other categories. Listeners can choose the most relevant topics and explore live or ready-made audio content. Here, it aims to shape suggestions and provide user-specific suggestions based on users' listening habits or reactions such as likes/dislikes. Twitter is currently testing the podcast feature with random users and only in English. Twitter says it will make improvements to the podcast feature based on feedback. However, no date has been shared for general use.
